When Do You Start Your Prepwork and Packing for a Trip to WDW?

I have a whole corner of my bedroom dedicated to vacation stuff......for both WDW and Disney cruises. There are some items that just stay in my suitcases. I've started planning a trip to WDW in 2023. I can't make reservations yet, but the spreadsheets and budget are already started.
