when do you start tanning?

As I am from the UK I have white skin and I so love a tan in the Summer and want to be tanned on my trip to Florida. I am one of the unlucky ones and have had skin cancer a few years ago - my consultant said from sunbed use. I have seen a great little gadget on the shopping channel called an IBOD for Tanning and it has had good reveiws so I am going to order one and see what happens and hopefully I wont look whiter than white in my shorts.

I'm not sure what classes you took, but I'm not sure I'd go that far with it. You never know.

I took state certified classes. It is also taught that so many people really are not well informed on tanning. So many believe it is bad, which is NOT true. It depends on how you do it and how much.

The mystic tan will do nothing to protect your skin form the sun though. You can still burn as easily as anyone else.

We lived in Florida and worked at Disney for 9 years and to be honest I would skip the tanning a just use sunscreen and reapply often. You will notice that most of the locals are not realy that tan themselves. I almost never had tan lines while living there. It is the same now that we live in Las Vegas. Sunscreen is a must, especially the sweat proof kind.

I live in Florida and I only tan when I am going on the Disney Cruise which usually is in April. This way I wont get burned and be miserable on the boat all week.
