When do you start school?

We start school September 7. When are your kids going back? Are they excited? This summer is going too fast.

My kids start on August 28th, except that DS15 starts football 2 weeks earlier. DS is ready to go back because of football. DD13 is ready because she misses her friends. DD6 hasn't said anything about being ready. I'm just ready for the HEAT to stop. Once swim team is over at the end of July I could just go straight to fall and be happy.

August 15th. The 10th grader had schedule pick-up today. Two of his 8 classes were wrong...guess that's why they do it two weeks in advance!

My daughter begins 2nd grade on August 10 - 8 more days! OP - where do you live, you have almost a month longer! She is very excited for now.

ds is starting Kindergarten Aug. 23rd... he's excited...but I can't say I am...my baby is growing up! He's the one and only!!!! It'll be ok...but I know I'll cry!

Sept 5.

It's still a month away, and we have our vacation coming up first, so DS isn't really talking about it yet.

I'm trying not to think about it either, since we always wait until the last minute to do our school supply shopping. We'll probably go the last week of Aug after we are back from our vacation.

I am in New Jersey. We finished school on June 20. My kids still have summer work to do and I don't want summer to end

Summer semester ends tomorrow and then I start fall semester on August 19th.

My kids start up the first week of September. I will miss them!

As a I start on August 28. My DS (also a one and only) will begin September 5. While I prepare to greet other people's babies, someone else will be greeting mine and I won't be there. I feel awful! But like you, mine is excited too so he can't know how upset Mommy is.
