When do you receive Disney files?

So we never received the spring issue of Disney files. Probably back in April I did contact MS and they did mail out a copy. I see that the summer copy is now available online. i am just curious as to when most of you typically receive it in the mail?

I want to wait a reasonable amount of time before i contact MS for a copy.

We never received the Spring 2016 copy either. I am curious as to when members are getting the summer magazine too.

I did see it online, but I would prefer a hard copy to read. I feel like i am on the computer so much at work (like right now) that i just want to read an actual printed magazine. Plus Olaf is on the cover and I know my daughter is going to want that up in her room.

You would think they would just do a mass mailing, but just like with any DVC anniversary mailings and the new member cards we never receive anything. They even asked me to check my preferences online to make sure I have selected where info is to be mailed, yup everything is in place but nothing ever is mailed to us. For a company that seems so on top of things DVC isn't run the same.

We got the Summer one a few weeks ago. Given this is the second one you haven't gotten then I would take that to mean there is a problem somewhere down the line.

I contacted MS and did a chat with them. They verified the address and noted that they are not sent out all at the same time and that i should wait a couple more weeks. We shall see

Definitely call MS or do an online chat. I did that with the spring issue and i received it in the mail in a week.

Did you receive any mailings for the 25th anniversary stuff? I didn't but thought i remember hearing that others did. We also never received our member cards and had to contact them about that as well. We are fairly new members (closed resale in Dec 2015) so that is why i figured i didn't get some of those mailings.

When did you become a member? If it was after the most recent resale restrictions i wonder if they are also restricting mailings as well. We became members (resale) about mid December. As far as I know we should be receiving the same mailings as direct buyers and with the couple chats that i have had w/ MS they never indicated that I wouldn't get them w/ my resale membership.

AUG-15 is when I closed my first contract.

I know I am grandfathered in to get the perks. But in a communication from Disney, they defined a member as someone who purchased direct from Disney. So that makes me an owner with grandfathered perks and not a member of DVC.

I just thought of something, we did sign up for electronic notices from DVC, perhaps that includes the Disney Files?

We received the Olaf edition about two weeks ago (SoCal).
