When do you plan your trips?

When do you and your family plan there trips to disney? Mine does it at the last minute. I just want to plan it in advance to know what it is like to count down the days. But it is also fun doing it at the last minute. What do you think? I am a Junior is HS and really want to go but my parents do not want to go. I am afraid that I will not be able to go with them to vacations in college because they might not take me. I think. But what would u do?
