Since becoming DVC members,what months have become your normal time for visiting WDW?

Seems like my normal time is now around Dis-Con time

I really hate to criticize you contribution, but Thanksgiving and early December are seperate times. I often go during the first two weeks of December, I wouldn't be caught dead there during Thanksgiving....the parks are too crowded and the points are too high.

I picked then and October. Those are the only two times we ever go. This year we are hitting both. We leave a week from Wednesday for a long weekend and go again the second weekend of December, taking four nights in the OKW GV....I hate when its crowded.

We love going to WDW in early December - with the beautiful decorations and wonderful holiday spirit that seems to engulf CMs and visitors alike.

Kids in school = majority long vacations in summer from now on.

Didn't read your post first so i only picked march...but I love the christmas holidays...and we have been at halloween twice....

We are newish to DVC, but we like going in May...longer daylight hours, warm weather, and lower points and crowds. I have gone to WDW other times of the year, but I enjoy May the most...plan to make it an annual event. Sandie

We like going the 2nd week of December. Its not too crowded yet and not as hot as in the summer months. We were at WDW Dec. of 2000 and about froze! I saw people in parkas,long-johns, winter coats. We were trying to get away f/the cold and it followed us on vacation! It better not be there we we go back to WDW this coming December!

We like to go in Feb(Presidents week) to get away from the cold and snow in Ohio.

And we like to go to VB in July.

I have been to WDW every month of the year except Jan and I am sure one of these Jan I will be there then also. I like to go ANYTIME I can get the vacation time to go. ANY day in WDW is better than a day at work!!

When I "like" to go and when I "can" go are two totally different times Since my son is in Catholic School and they frown on you taking the children out during the school year, we can only go during the summer.

Now my ideal time is May. Oh well, maybe some year DH and I will go without DS; and in May too!

We haven't picked a favorite.....been twice in July and its really not our first choice, but if we can go to WDW we end up going!

May was very enjoyable, as was late August. November was really nice too. January was good though I think I enjoy having longer hours if the crowds aren't too bad. Trying Thanksgiving and early Dec. this year....Halloween next and early Sept. the following year (and possibly March or May if we can manage it...we'll have AP's at the time) I'm hoping after we've tried it all we'll settle on a time we like best and sort of stick with it. I'm really looking forward to all the holiday events this year!

Our most magical trip so far was the one in late August (ending Sept 2nd)....but I don't know if the time of year was really what was responsible for that. The whole trip was just wonderful. And my opinion of January may be tarnished by the fact that we all got sick!

Oh, and I'd really like to be there for my birthday someday.....which is in late April. Or my dd's birthday in early March. But the points tend to be pretty high during those times and we're trying to stretch our 200 as much as possible.

We were there a couple of years ago the first week of October. It was really nice. Crowds were down and it wasn't too wet. A few light showers. This year we went the last part of April and first part of May. Great weather. Not one drop of rain. It was unseasonably warm though. Crowds were very tolerable. We have RSVP for second week in December. Hope the weather is good. Anything will be better than Kansas in December!! Really looking forward to the Christmas decorations.

Our new time to go is the end of January, during Superbowl week. I don't know why, it's not like we have any chance of running into any football players! lol I don't think I would know them even if I ran smack into them! But, my dh enjoys being at the GV at OKW and inviting friends to watch the game.

My favorite time is the first week of December, although I have only been once. We went with my "commando" sister and really had the best time! I definitely want to plan a trip for that time of year again.

Pretty soon, we will only be able to go during holidays and summers, with the kids being in school. But, we're not ones for huge crowds, so we may have to go to other places instead during holidays. I guess we'll figure it out when we cross that road, though!

This will be our 1st trip home this Dec but all other trips have been 1st or 2nd week of Dec and 1st week in Oct. We absolutely love WDW in Dec with the decorations and festivities, if that dont get you in the spirit nothin' will!

We previously have visited during several months of the year, but now that our 5 year old has entered school, we'll most likely use April vacations .......
