We have been at WDW at various times of the Year Including holidays and full summer. (Going next year for halloween/wedding anniversary.) The only thing we can say for sure is that we found the heat of high summer somewhat oppressive.

What is your favorite time of year to visit and why?

Also if anyone cares to comment is there any time of year that a specific hotel is better or worse for the weather?

This time going in March, kids are in HighSchool can't take them out of school(so will have to see how the weather is). The time we went in June was too hot for my liking, I don't like being miserably hot! April weather was just about perfect. :sunny:

in 2005, we went in March. Next year, we are going in May. We didn't go this year because I was pregnant and Disney is just TOOOO much when you are pregnant. :sad2: So, we are very excited for our May trip. I think I am going to buy the tickets soon. I am waiting for my Disney planning DVD to come soon. Not that I don't have it planned already, but the DVD helps get us more excited!!! :cool1:

We went last mid-November and the weather was perfect. I did get a bit burnt out on Christmas since all the decorations were already up, music playing, parades changed, etc. Crowds were great during the week, but picked up quite a bit on weekends.

We seem to be going for july 4th alot lately but next year's trip will be in february... the only thing I didn't like about July was the oppressive heat. I have been several times in late aug/early sep and really enjoy that time... hope february turns out ok...

(but is there really a bad time to be at disney? :rotfl: )

Living in the South, I can't imagine going to WDW in the summer. I can feel hot and sticky for free by walking around my neighborhood. Last year we went the week before Christmas and absolutely loved it. I loved the decorations and the holiday feel of the parks and resorts. This year we are going the Sat before Thanksgiving and coming home Thanksgiving day. I am hoping that the weather and crowds are as good during that time as they were the week before Christmas.

If for some reason I lost my mind (or what is left of it) and went in the summer, I would want to be in a resort close to the parks (MK or EPCOT) and with a nice pool so that I wouldn't mind going back to resort after lunch.

This year we are staying at BWV, and I can't wait to see the decorations.

We like November/December best, followed by Jan-April. If the right opportunity came up we would go at any time.:earsboy:

I'm a fan of mid to late October - the weather is perfect, crowds are very manageable, and I absolutely love the Food and Wine Festival. Plus, this year was my first MNSSHP and we had a fabulous time. In fact, we're already planning for next year. :thumbsup2

We've also been at WDW a variety of seasons. Last year we went early march, after the cheerleaders/dance competitions and before things got really wound up for spring break. It was pretty perfect! The weather was in the upper70 to low80 and the crowds while not none exsistent were very reasonable. We are going back at exactly the same time this year, so wish me luck that things are just as great this time. I would also like to try early october and the week after thanksgiving too.

The first time we went was around mid november. We loved it! The weather was 70's & 80's and the crowds were low. The second was beggining of March and pretty much the same weather but the crowds were more intense. Our next trip is this January 25th through to Feb. 6 and we can't wait! :rotfl: I've heard it's one of the best times to go!

We like January. Weather is mild (we live in Michigan) and crowds are low.

I've been every month of the year but the one month that seems to bring us back more and more is May. The weather is warm but not too bad, the rehabs don't seem too bad, the crowds haven't gotten into full swing yet, you don't see any Brazillan tour groups, and it's convenient to hubby's teaching schedule. Yes, we like May the best.

I have been going last week of May, getting hot, but not like the sun yet, and the best, IMO, right after Thanksgiving. That is the best, I love it there then, great weather, lower crowds, value rates, Christmas decorations and attractions. :thumbsup2

May, September/October, December and February. It gets us there about once a season. December and February are camping trips (Dec at Ft Wil. and Feb in Tampa - just close enough for a day trip) DO NOT GO IN THE SUMMER! It's FLORIDA!

May is just warm enough to be plesant, but, not too hot. Sept/Oct is the same.

We like Port Orleans, because it reminds us so much of home. (We're in Savannah, GA. The tempreture and plantlife are almost identical) But, We are DVC now and won't be staying their anymore :(

For the last two years -- and also 2007 -- we go and will go in the first two weeks of Feb. The Value season tends to end right before Presidents' Day, and it's supposed to be pretty crowded that week, but we found it wasn't bad before that. The weather was around 65-75, although it was very dreary during our last visit.

I hasten to add that the first two weekends in Feb. appear to be UCA (United Cheerleaders Association, or something like that) championships, so there are some extra teenage girls around, but depending on whether or not you have teenage boys, that could be perfectly fine! ;) Other then that, the crowds were pretty reasonable, with not longer than a 30 minute wait for anything (except Soarin' and the Land because Test Track was closed last year)

Definately Halloween Week.
We actually overlapped a weekend once with Jersey Week and EVERYONE was from New Jersey! THis was 2004 when the Red Sox won the World Series. We thought our lives were in danger. :rolleyes1

Our recent trips have been the last week of Sept. A few days can still be very hot but generally the humidity is down so it almost bearable. But most important, the lines are short.

:cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

We have been during many different months. I WILL NOT go to Disney from mid April thru October. I dont like the heat at all and we prefer to go in the fall/winter. My favorite week so far has to be our week last year. We went the week after Thanksgiving and it was not crowded at all and the decorations were wonderful. This year we are going 12/16-12/23 because my niece is in college and cant miss classes. I know it will be more crowded, but I will get to see the decorations again!!
