When do you get your wedding coordinator?

DH & I are planning an Escape vow renewal (for April 13, 2011). We've sent our deposit in (faxed it September 2nd), but haven't heard who our coordinator will be.

How long after paying your deposit did you get notified of your Coordinator? and was it via email or phone?

It can take a couple of weeks. They only decide once a week who will do which weddings.

My planner actually called me...in the middle of my best friend's wedding rehearsal, so I couldn't answer! I thought that would be a bit of thunder stealing right there.

Anyway, she emailed me and all was well. We faxed our LOA sometime in the end of June and I heard from her July 9th. So...two weeks

The hardest part about planning a wedding with Disney is the waiting. It took a couple of weeks till I got my coordinator as well. It can also seem to 'us' that we have to wait to long to for responses to e-mails when in reality it was just a couple of days which is quite acceptable. Also having to make an appointment for a phone call can be it little frustrating but that is how Disney weddings makes sure you get the one on one time you need with your consultant.

The issue I had was with the sales consultant who I had to prompt several times, my LOA, changes to my LOA and getting my copy of the signed LOA. I would wait two weeks and nothing then when I called it was accomplished. I just put it down to being busy. Once I had my coordinator it everything went well.
