Hi

Does anybody know what date the Christmas decorations come down and the Christmas shows/special events stop?

Thank you!

Hmmmmm... not sure. I know they go up gradually over a few weeks. Not sure if they come down the same way or if it's done all in one day! Nah.... they can't do it all in one day.

5th Jan rings a bell but I don't know why - probably not correct. Maybe someone who's going in Jan or has been in Jan in the past will know.

January 8th 2006 is the last day of the Christmas Season.

After this day the Christmas Parade, Fantillusion, Mickey's Christmas show, Belles Village, Enchanted Fairytale Ceremony will finish.

Lion King and Mickey's Winter Wonderland will continue running, and the Wonderful World of Disney Parade will return for its farewell season.

The decorations will then be removed overnight over the following week, normally it takes about 4/5 days.

The main Christmas tree will be surrounded by construction fences, and so will Town Sqaure Gardens and Central Plaza Gardens for the first few days after the Christmas season, as they remove all the trees, the stage and baubles etc...

Crickey........ you know your stuff. That was really interesting, thanks

Thanks so much for the replies everyone. Planning a last-minute New Year trip and wanted to make sure it would "still be Christmas" at DLRP.
