When do they shut down HM?

The wife and I are headin over in Sept and I'm curious,,,when do they start the overlay for the "Nightmare Before Christmas"?
We would like it see HM without the 'overlay/overdose'.

Based on the last few years, I would expect HM to close for overlay on August 25 this year. They have been starting before Labor Day. Last year, it closed on August 26.

I like NBC, but I do not like HMH. I still so wish it would visit WDW, at least every other year, alternating with Disneyland. Of course I would be just ecstatic if it simply never returned to the Haunted Mansion at DL, to begin with. It (Nbc) just simply is all so wrong and doesn't belong there (Haunted Mansion)

When I called the Disney info number for closures, it has Haunted Mansion closed from August 25 to September 11

When I called it was:
1. #1for Disneyland Park and Information
2. #1 for Disneyland park
3. #4 Attractions

Have a pen and paper ready to write down the dates and attractions.
