When do the water parks get crowded? best time to go?

Best time to go to the water parks to do the slides? Is rope drop best? And do they still not have anyone checking bags at the entrance? Just curious!

Rope drop or on an overcast/possibly storm day.

We went that Sunday morning of Tropical Storm Colin....cloudy and overcast and walked on everything. We were done in about 2 hours. We also went 3 other times and hit rope drop each time. Got all the headliners with minimal waits in the first 2 hours.

I believe someone was checking the bags...I honestly don't remember though.
