When do the holiday decorations go up?`

When does Disney get all decked out for the holidays? I'd like to make a short trip down with my family this fall and it would be great if we could time our trip to see the parks decked out. We've been in early December before, but I was wondering how early in November that they decorate?

You are guaranteed to have them done by Thanksgiving, but they start putting them up about 2 weeks before that. Sometimes they are done (parks and resorts) by the Sunday before Thanksgiving. They will definitely be done at MK by Nov 10th because that is the first Christmas party!

We were there Oct. 30th to Nov. 6th and by the time we left there were lots of Holiday decorations already!

We were there nov 4 -13th (years ago) and they were putting up the decorations while we were there.

I agree - after 31st October we saw the tree in Epcot go up overnight. We left 4th November & they had started the decorating.
