Ive just been reading that the celebrations will be starting either on the 1st April, or the 12th (i think its the 12th as the official 20th year) 2012.

Just im going March 26th - 29th.....So im not going to see all these 20th Celebrations??!
I dont know if to change dates to May so i can see them?? or stick to March. Ive looked online for a quote, for the same as all the things we have for March, And it worked about 40Euros dearer?! So what to do? I asked DP and he said he is fine to do whatever i want to do!

I didnt see the 15th year celebrations? So would people who seen the 15th recommend to go to the 20th? Ive heard the Parade was FAB on the 15th! Will it be alot busier to?

I dont know what to do! if i go in and check that i can move the dates Hotel wise! I will be very tempted to say yes!

Who did you book through, will you forfeit any money if you move your dates? If not and you'll only be paying the extra €40 then I'd do that. The celebrations begin on 1st April and you may see something a day or two before depending on when the press preview is but I wouldn't want to chance it. The 15th celebrations were lovely and I'd hate to miss out on seeing the 20th ones. Also, in my opinion May is a nicer month to go in - it should be better weather-wise and the evenings will certainly be lighter for longer.

If it isn't going to cost you a fortune to switch dates, do it! I would just for the new nighttime spectacular alone.

I agree, switch your dates to May if its only costing a little bit more - there will be so much more to see once the 20th anniversary year begins, compared to March :goodvibes.

I booked it through Thomas Cook, paid it all the day we booked!.
I was wondering i wonder if they will charge me for changing the dates, as they will prob have to cancel and then rebook! Its Worth asking....If its to complicated for them, will have to leave it as March then try come again later in the year to see the 20th Celebrations!

Yeah its the night time part i really want to go for, heard so many good reviews about the 15th celebrations!!

Will ring Thomas Cook! :)

Ive Just called them back, She said they can Email Disney on Monday, and ask if we change the dates with exactly the same package etc. So fingers crossed we can!
She said sometimes you have to pay fee's to change dates per person, but because its Disney she isnt 100% sure.
So have to wait for the outcome on Monday! Plus the dates we want to change to is my Birthday dates! First full day will be my Bday! :)

So i have to wait upto 6days, while the travel agents email admin somewhere or another to see if we are able to change dates.
Because we are flexible with the dates, she said it might be able to happen! Fingers crossed Will soon see!

Thomas cook are generally pretty good, i always use them - they may have to charge you a small admin fee ( was £25 to change passangers on a recent trip)

As you are flexible you should be ok :)

Aw great thanks for posting! I was worried the fee's would be alot more like £125 each. I will be very happy if its around that price:thumbsup2
Its my first time booking with Thomas cook, But they have been really helpful! So im hoping they can help me out!
