When do summer clearance sales start?

Am I too late? I always buy our summer clothes for the next year at the end-of-season sales, but have been "no buy" for the past two months, so haven't even been in Target/Sears/Wal-Mart since May. Are summer clothes at 50-75% off yet, or did I miss it?

I'm afraid to go & check myself because I always see something I "need." Help me stick to my budget, please!

I think Labor Day weekend. That's when I hit for my big summer shopping.

Now. I got DD a bunch of t-shirts at Target for 50% off, and got her 7 shirts at lands end in Sears for 40% off clearance price... most about $4.00 to $4.75 each.

I have been getting emails in Canada for the last week on summer clearance. Places like Old Navy and Childrens place. maybe check online.

I have start see sales at 50 percent off. But we start school here the second week in August. My kids can wear shorts to November sometimes then which too pants. Okay I live in the South does not cool until November sometimes than just put on some pants. I have known wear shorts to Thanksgiving Dinner. LOL
