When do room key perks end?

I was wondering when the benefits of staying on-site other than express expire. Meaning, can someone staying club level still use the fitness center/pool/lounge/etc. the day of departure AFTER checking out?

I'm sorry if this is repetitive....I remember having seen this answered, but couldn't find it today.

It finishes when park closes, so you can use FOTL all day of check out.

Thanks, but we're not actually going to the parks the next two days. I'm much more curious about the other perks I mentioned.

You can bet we'll use every last minute of FOTL we have coming for our trip in October.

Anybody know about the lounge or fitness center? Do I have all day there as well on checkout day?

I think that ends when you check out cause the other perk such as having unlimited express pass can be used the day of check out until the parks closes but if I am wrong others will post

I just spoke to the front desk agent at RP and they said the key works all day, specifically mentioning the club lounge, pool, and gym. Let's hope that's accurate. I'll know for sure on Tuesday.

They where not that strict on the fitness room, as DW and DD had a shower about 3 oclock just before we left for the airport

Let me know how that works out. I have a late flight out of departure day and we are pool hanging that day and being club level too, we are grabbing a a shower at the fitness center before we head to MCO.....the girl I booked the cabana with said it would be no problem

i can tell you for a fact, that even though you have checked out of the room, your key card will allow you to use the club and fitness center until you depart from the hotel.

when i "check out" of the hotel, i don't necessarily leave the hotel.
i take night flights out to return home.

if you want to use the pool, pack a small bag of clothes to change into after you are done swimming.

store your luggage with the bell hops and put the small bag attached to the suitcase handle. go to the parks or explore the hotel for awhile.

go back to luggage storage and show your claim ticket.
tell the bell hop to bring you the bag fastened to the suitcase handle.

there you now have your swimsuits and clothes to change into later.

use the poolroom at the side of the building in the pool area to change into.
show your room key to get towels for the pool.

when done, go back to the changing room area, showers included there, and change clothes.

if you don't want to hang onto the wet clothes in the bag, check it in with luggage again.

came back to add, you don't have to be a guest staying club level to do what i mentioned above.

all guests have the right to hang around the hotel and use the amenities until they leave the hotel.


those on club level are allowed to return to club level and can use the lounge there.

all guests can use the concierge in the lobby to have their boarding passes printed.

Great question & great info. We've got a late flight out, so it will be nice to grab a quick shower prior to heading to the airport. Now I just need to remember to pack a few plastic bags for all the wet swim suits.

i found it easier to pack things in a plastic bag and tie it to the suitcase handle.

that way, you don't have to have the valet give you your suitcase and you rummage through it for things you need after you check out.

you can just show them your claim ticket and tell them to only bring the plastic bag attached to the suitcase.

bring along a few extra plastic bags so if your swimsuit is very wet, it won't mess up the other items already packed in your suitcase.

Love the idea of the plastic bag tied to the suitcase - will definitely be using that nifty little trick.
