When do Nov Room/pkg discounts usually come out?

I'm going to call shortly, but do you think a better deal will come out with say costco or somewhere else? We did a package with costco last year and loved it

So I just called Disneyland ressies & the CM told me that they are supposed to be able to apply the DV discount today, but are having trouble. He said call back tomorrow.! I don't like waiting!

Okay, I called again to make sure I was told the correct info & was again told they are having trouble & now won't be able to apply the discount til 9-13. She also said this doesn't apply to current ressies, so I will have to book a new ressie & cancel my old one to get the discount.

No discount today, I just called and was told to try again tomorrow, they can't book them today even though the offer just came out.

I got the email for Disney Visa, thanks everyone for the heads up on this one. Let's hope we all get great deals!

The person I spoke to say it runs up until checkout on the 25th, so it's good for the 24th also.

Just looked up our booking from last year for Halloween and I made the reservation on 9/7 for the awesome $228/night rate at GCH. I'm gonna wake up early tomorrow and check! (yeah cuz it will be almost noon for the East Coast by the time I get up haha).

I got the same email. It says general public offer starts 9/13/11. I think I will stay where we were already booked, but at least we had an offer to consider.

Some of the fine print:

Bummer but not surprising. They can fill the hotels for those dates already without offering discounts, especially the Christmas through New Year's dates.

I am on the phone right now at 9:30 am central time & the CM is having trouble applying the code still. She is trying different things to make it work. She said if she can't get it to apply, she will contact a supervisor.

After being on the phone for 30 min (not too bad), the discount has been applied. She had a supervisor add the disc to my current ressie (which is why it took so long). I saved $630. Now I am waiting for the email confirmation so I can double check my ressie.

May I ask how much that cost? I did 5 nights and 4 day tix and my price was $2410. The original price I got from the DLR website was $2800 so I'm only saving $400.. that is not 25%. Guess I need to call them again!

The trick with the "save 25%" is that it's supposed to be 25% off whatever current rack rate is. I'm sure that's buried somewhere in the fine print. If you already booked under any sort of previous deal, however small, you won't necessarily save 25% of whatever price you were already booked at. Also, the 25% is only off the room price, not the ticket price, so make sure not to include that in your savings expectations.

I'm pretty sure the website is updated with the special. When I checked yesterday my dates at PPH were $540, today it's down to $378. That's 30% by my math.

Edit: My old saved offer is the top one at $540. Bummer it didn't update for the savings.

Today I reserved a room at Paradise Pier for my November trip for $175 a night.


I logged in to the Disneyland site, clicked on the Annual Passholders tab and then selected Special Offers. It showed a rate of $225/night for my days. I clicked the Book Room button and it took me to the Vacation Offers screen. I then clicked on Save Offer Info (I originally was trying the pin trick). Then I went back to the home screen and chose the Places to Stay tab and then clicked on Book Your Visit. The offer was now only $175/night!

Needless to say, I reserved my room on the spot. Even with my previous PIN offers, I've never seen a rate that low.
