When do new guide books come out?

I was looking to purchase the passporter and the Unofficial guide. We are looking to go the beginning of December. Should I purchase the current 2005 books or will the 2006 be coming out in the next 2 months or so? Does anyone know when they release the next year? Thanks!

The 2005 UG has printing dates for 2006 listed as August or September 2005.

If you don't want to play the waiting game, you can buy the 2005 UG and then check for free updates on the website. I bought mine through www.overstock.com at a great price with $1.00 shipping.

Not 100% sure about the Passporter's new print dates, but I know you can do the same with them, buy the current guide and then check on the web for free updates.

The 2005 Passporter came out in March / April, so I doubt they'll be another one before Dec. The 2006 UG should be out by late summer / early fall. I'd get Passporter now, and wait a few months for UG.
