When do local schools get out

We make a trip 'home' every summer. Last year we were blind sided by the crowds, hello, what happened? 50th anniversary celebration and new fire works (that rock) happened...

So we can go late May/early June or late July. Which do you think will be better? Do you think this summer will be like last summer?

Most schools in southern cali get out anywhere from 1st week of June on. Arizona schools start getting out middle of May.

i'm on year round school but usually the two weeks before the Fourth of July is when everyone is on break. Then my new school year begins the day after the 4th of July.

We live in southern CA -- summer break for schools start mid-late June in this area.

Coronado (in San Diego area) schools are out June 15.

I think it depends on the school doesn't it? My nephews live in SoCal and their school is year-round.
