when do kids go back to school ?

taken from is school out yet? Im wondering when the students will be going back. I have my trip planned for the 19th thru the 26th and I know our kids go back August 31st. just wondering if the parks will be super full by the end of the month, or if folks will be getting the kids ready for school and the parks will slow down.

My kids go back to school August 13th. We are in Northern California though.

August 10 (AZ) - it's a relatively short summer! 2.5 months to fill w/ camp, swim lessons & birthday party.

Washington State students go back the Wednesday after Labor Day. The best trip to DL we ever had was the week before Labor Day several years ago. It was very magical because the parks were still open late and a lot of shows were running but the crowds were very small. I remember riding the monorail into the park on Sunday afternoon and walking onto Space Mountain. Since then, we've been back to DLR twice (both times during Spring Break--the week before Easter) and the crowds have been horrible.

You should have a great time as far as crowds go! (I hope they haven't gotten worse over the years.)

We all go back to school in mid August. Sad, because my dad has the same birthday as the boys and they would have liked to all go to DLR on their birthday. But now their end of August birthday is during school and high school is too hard to miss. Actually, I thought every grade was too hard to miss so I never pulled them out.

We are from Eastern WA and school starts the end of August. I have heard that disneyland isn't so bad at the end of August, but we just got back on May 2nd (suppose to be slow) and it was quite busy for the time of year. I think more and more it is going to be busier.

wow so you all go back eary, or most of you. Here in Montana we go back the 28th so thought a end of the month trip would be awesome. I am hoping with the kids going back to school, the park will be way less crowded. thasnks everyone
