Hi there thank you so much for your response to my last post, you guys helped lift a weight off my shoulders. We are going for Poly. I think my husband wants to stay in a suite there, are they pretty nice? Has anyone stayed in a suite and which one? Also when should I book my vacation. I haven't found any offers. I thought of booking it through www.waltdisneyworld.com but I don't know what to do. We like their pkg deals because it comes with unlimited access in the parks. My husband hates that the baby will be in our room because she sleeps better in her own. Any suggestions. Also any room suggestions.
Thanks
Leslie

Hi Leslie- I'm also going in July, and I'm going to wait and see what January discounts are available. Check in with www.Mousesavers.com periodically, and Mary will let us know about codes when they come available. Also, have you thought about a one bedroom at a DVC resort? We took my DD when she was 2, and it was nice to have the room to shut the door for naps, etc. and be able to relax in the living room or on the patio. We stayed at OKW, but I'm sure they are all nice!

Discounts for July won't be released until late April or early May - book a room that you can afford and be happy with now, and when discounts are announced, call and apply the discount to your reservation, and you can even move to a different resort.

I would book asap. July is a very busy time of the year. If you want your first choice of resorts and a suite, there is no reason to wait. You can apply any discount codes you find later.

I agree. I am going in July and we have had our vacation booked since August. You can always make changes after the fact but make sure you have a bed to sleep in for now.

I booked my July vacation last week for the Poly, and got my deposit paid. I can't wait!!!!!

Suites are very nice, but expensive (like $1000 a night). Codes are generally not available on suites, and they often book a year or more in advance. If you google search for "suite Disney" you will find a great site with a lot of photos.

Another option would be to rent points to book a DVC villa. Check the DVC rent trade board. There aren't Villas at the Poly - Wilderness Lodge, Saratoga Springs, Old Key West, Boardwalk Villas and Beach Club Villas are your options. But renting points would probably be a cheaper option to get a few rooms. Another option is to book connecting rooms at the Poly.

DS and I are going Aug. 2005, I booked my vacation this past Sept. with Small World Vacations and put a deposit down, have until 45 days out to pay it off and they will look out for any dicounts that come out and change my reservations. I just got an e-mail from my agent telling me about the new Magic Your Way pkgs. She told me that they are all going down 12/8 - 12/13 to learn more about this new deal and will let me know if it's better than the old one.
