When do Halloween Decorations go Up?

I've searched and searched, but can't seem to find an answer to this. Maybe we just don't know when the magic happens!

But...the first Halloween party is really early this year, September 2, so when will they decorate the MK for Halloween? Late August? September 1? Seems so early for fall decorations. I read a post that talked about how fun Liberty Tree Tavern is at Halloween time, wondered when they kick that off.

I am hoping for an overnight surprise. We will be there the 31st and 1st and party on the 2nd!

Just after labor day a couple of years back.

I've been there end or August/ begin of Sept (before labor day) for the last 3 years. The park is always decorated around the beginning of Sept - I have pics from last year that were taken on 9/3 that show Halloween decorations (Labor day was 9/7). MNSSHP will happen on 9/2 this year so I would expect the park to be decorated at the end of August
