When do Florida schools get out for Summer?

We are going Memorial day week9 24-29, will there be summer vacationers yet? How bad are crowds going to be?

We used to go in early June and the crowds were not bad. We have not done that since 2002, but we are this year. I will be anxious to hear from others.

our kids get out on may 19th. but escambia county started a week or two before any other county in the state. so we may be getting out earlier too. i am not really sure.

we will be out then and you can count on a crowd most of us have passes and we try to use them before the summer expiration last year it was really crowded wewere surprised till we started talking to local folks who had the same idea as us....

My older son gets out mid May when he graduates from high school. My DD's last day is May 25th.

Central Florida area started EARLY this year. They will be out of school by then.

i asked this same question on the usf board....it seems that most of the schools in the orlando area (orange & osceola counties) get out around 5/23. you can check this website - http://www.fldoe.org/districtcalendar/

May 25th in Hillsborough County, and you can be darn sure we'll be out there every chance we get after that since our seasonal passes go into blackout June 10th.
