When do crowds drop down after Thanksgiving?

When do crowds typically die down after Thanksgiving? Last year we arrived late on Saturday night, and we didn't notice large crowds on the Sunday after Thanksgiving. Am I correct to assume that the Saturday after Thanksgiving is still pretty crowded? If so, it's it "nightmare on Main Street" crowded or manageably crowded? Thanks for the help!

Admittedly lots of people have to head home on Saturday because they could not get cheap airplane seats for Sunday but Saturday after Thanksgiving does have good sized crowds. (From experience in 1998, 2001, 2003.)

Manageably crowded. We arrived Sat after Thanksgiving and had our first MK day on Sunday. We arrived late (around noon) and Fantasyland was pretty crowded. Had a 20 minute wait for Small World. But I suspect that if we had arrived at opening, we would have had more done. By that evening, crowds had died down considerably, and by Monday things were better. Not empty, but better.

Although the crowds dropped down by Sunday this year, it didn't seem real empty or anything, at least not by 12/1. I talked with a server about it and she said that the last few years, crowds haven't dropped considerably between Thanksgiving and Christmas. It seems, according to her, that the secret of Disney during the Christmas season is getting out.

We arrived Thanksgiving day and saw a huge drop in crowds on Sunday. The rest of the week was pretty quiet. I have a bag full of unused fastpasses that i got in the AM and then never needed because so many rides were walk ons.

However, Friday and Saturday seem to be equally crowded the week of Thanksgiving and the week after. This surprised me a little. I expected the days after Thanksgiving to be mobbed and the following weekend to be quiet. Neither was the case...
