When do Christmas festivities begin?

Since we had to cancel our April Dapper Days trip, we're thinking of going for event in November. By the 11th, will the parks and resorts be decorated and will parks have holiday goodies like candy canes made on Main Street?

They have not announced the starting date as of yet, but my guess would be either the 6th or the 13th since it's usually around Veteran's day. Hand-made candy canes don't start until closer to Thanksgiving. Even if they are not in full swing by the 8th, you will see Christmas stuff up and around the parks for sure.

Look over the first page of last year's Holiday Time Superthread for the dates that things happened, what was offered, when, where, etc. And cruise through that thread for a general idea of what to expect this year.

ETA: If you will be attending Fall Dapper Day, that is 11/15 -- it is almost a sure bet that Holiday Time at DLR will have begun by then!
