We are arriving the first week of January. When do the decorations start coming down? We are staying at Wilderness Lodge? What about the parks? Thanks!

Some will "start" to come down by the first weekday after New Year's Day, but some will remain up through about Jan. 15.

This January, we did HS on the 11th and MK on the 12th, and both had some decorations up. From the 13th to the 15th, we did Epcot, AK, and MK, and all decorations were gone.

Resort decorations will start coming down right after New Years for the most part. In park decorations have been staying up as late as Jan. 15th-ish. They usually stay up until at least Marathon weekend which is January 4-8.

The Epcot Christmas tree comes down right after christmas though since that tree is inside the park and they need to space for New Years illuminations.

We arrived at the WL on Saturday, Jan 9th and were told that the Christmas decorations at the resort came down a few days earlier. But the MK had Christmas decorations and the castle looked beautiful. There were Christmas decorations at the other parks, too, but we didn't see any at the resorts that we visited.
