When do Christmas decorations go up?

I'd like to take a trip next year in the first part of December for three or four nights. My wife is balking at the idea beacause we are so busy during December with church activities, Christmas parties, school musicals etc, etc. I really want to go to WDW when Christmas decorations are up, so exactly when do they go up? We could probably fit a November trip in easier than December. Any and all help would be appreciated.

They start appearing right after Halloween. It takes several weeks to decorate all of the resorts, theme parks, stores, etc. By mid-November everything is decorated. The holiday special events also begin around the same time. This year the holiday-themed parades and Osborne lights started on 11/13. The MK Christmas parties won't start until after Thanksgiving.

Animal Kingdom had started to decorate on November 1st. The tree was up there and at MGM by the third of November. EPCOT's tree was up just at the close of the Wine and Food Festival. I didn't notice MK's tree but we only made a quick trip there. Christmas music was not as overwelming early this year as there was still some Disney themed music playing. We left on Nov 14th and had not noticed resort decorations yet.

We are going at the Nov into the beg of Dec and according to everyone I talked to including VM at disney everything is up and down by thanksgiving so you should be good for next year.

The MK tree was up by 11/3 this year. We had our picture taken in front of it.

The MK Christmas party was already in full swing this week before Thanksgiving. Also... the Osborne lights were also up.

The major thing that we noticed that has not started yet is the Candelight Processional at Epcot. That doesnt start until 11/24 this year.

We are sitting in the Denver Red Carpet Club on our way home. I guess we do not see the processional this year. I did listen to it on my iPod during the flight from MCO to DEN
