When do Christmas decorations come down?

I would love to go to Disney for the Holidays but I really don't think I could handle the crowds! We can't go just before because of DD's job, so I'm thinking of early January. How long do they leave the decorations up?

They usually start coming down over the first weekend. We were there this January and got to the trees in the 4 parks before they came down. It was pretty neat.

A lot of decorations stay up through Marathon weekend (Jan. 5 - 7). The lights in EPCOT and all the trees, swags, and wreaths were still up last year. Toon Town was still decorated and the Osborne lights were up in MGM. The Country Bears were already being changed back to the regular show when we got there, so we missed the Christmas show, but got to see the normal one before we left. Like magic--it all came down between close Sunday and open Monday! We will be there a little earlier this year (Dec. 30 - Jan. 7) and can't wait to see it all again! =)
