when did you not get a value room?

So I got my value 1 bedroom at AKV this morning for September 21-28. Yipee! This didn't surprise me to much since it's not a very busy time, which got me to wondering, when have you wanted a value room at the 11th month mark but weren't able to get one?

This is quite common at BLT. Even at the 11mo window it is nearly impossible to get a standard view studio room. You can do it during off peak seasons but if you are trying to do it during peak you have to push the reservation or be talking to the MS CM at exactly 9am...

I've always gotten the value villas at the 11 month window! I've gotten a value 2 bedroom twice and 2 value studios!

It's not easy at the 7 month mark, though. I went on the wait list the day of the sevedn month mark, and the watlist expired without the value studio ever becoming available. That's why we're looking for those AKV points-value studios at 11 months.

I've never had a problem, but I've noticed that even at the 11month mark none of the club levels are ever available for me. Probably because we travel at peak times and people have already booked 7 days ahead of me....

Although you save alot on the value 1bdrm and 2bdrms, I've noticed that there is not really a significant savings for the value studios. They're usually just 2-4 points below the standard. So don't feel too bad if you can't find any value studios.

Same here, have not had trouble at 11 months for value studios, 1-2 bedrooms. I've gotten a value studio at 7 months for September once. I gave up a value 1 bedroom for this January and went with a standard at Kidani, at 7 months becauce I decided I really wanted that second bathroom. So, you can get lucky at 7 months.
