When did Disney start pulling this trick?

You can't blame this solely on the dining plan. Food costs have gone crazy this past year. So, it's either raise prices or decrease serving sizes and buy cheaper products.

There's another thread on the budget board about this same subject except this time the restaurant is Denny's. There have been articles in my local paper about restaurant's here doing the same thing.

It's not just a Disney thing, it's not just a dining plan thing. It's happening all over.

i've noticed it with other products besides food... toiletries for instance... my bar of soap is a few coins more per package but the bars are each smaller...
