When Did Captain EO FIRST Debut??

Hi! Does anyone know what year Captain EO first debuted? I know most places say it was 1986, but I really find that hard to believe because we saw it when I was a child visiting Disney World and my brother looks so much younger than 6 in the photos (he was born in 1980.) And I also look WAY younger than 9 in the photos! We look more like 6 and 3 (possibly 7 and 4 at the oldest). This one really confuses me!

According to Wikipedia (I know, maybe not the most reliable source) it opened on September 12, 1986, closed on July 6, 1994 and re-opened again on July 2, 2010.

I remember I was there April 1986 and the show was not Captain E.O., went back Feb 1987 and saw it.

Wow.. that's just so unbelievable to me!! I can't believe my brother and I were so much older than we looked in those pictures! I know there is probably no way that this is the case, but I'm just going to ask anyways lol.. was there ever another Michael Jackson film at Disney earlier than that?! Sorry, I am just in shock that I was 9 in those pictures!! lol!

Something was playing in 1983 just after it opened up. Does anyone know what it was? I thought it was Capt. EO but the brain cells are getting up there in years so it might be confusing things with another time.

This was an old post of mine.. My mom figured this one out for me. We actually went to Disney World TWICE when we were kids! I thought we only went once because we didnt bring the camera the 2nd time, so there are no pictures.
