When creating FastPass party in MDE....

Is this something I'll do each time I book a FastPass? Or is it once and done? Also, when I go to do this, there are duplicate names of family members, and it is only accepting certain ones. I'm so confused.

I had similar issues adding my sister and niece to my MDE. I had to call Disney and get them to sort it out as for the life of me I couldn’t get them added correctly. Superb CM got me all sorted out and I was then able to see them.
I think the FP+ you have to add each person each time as I’ve certainly done that with myself and DH.

Is FP+ the same as FP? Sorry, but I just can't remember all these things about FP, even though we were just there a few years ago. I'm wondering if we'll have better luck getting fast passes if I do some of us separately. Like maybe my teenagers all together, and then my dh, myself, and my 7-year-old. Thank you!

I had Disney sort mine out a while ago so it would be ready for today. A couple people were showing up twice also. If it helps I did mypasses today. I had to book for 10 people of all ages. I booked all,of us for the same rides at the same times then I modified the ones that I had to. That way our rides are in the same time frame. I got FOP at 60 plus 2 and 60 plus 5. There were early times available for 60 plus 5 but we have early morning magic at toy story land that day so I booked it later in the day. I didn’t need slinky dog so I don’t know if it was available. 7DMT was available in the late afternoon at 60 plus 1 so I booked it at 60 plus 6 and got it at 11am

I wish I'd listened to everyone and got everything figured out earlier. We leave in 2 weeks for our vacation, and I've booked no fast passes yet. It's a long story, but between 2 graduating from college, a busy life, and my own anxiety & analyzation-paralyzation, our vacation has taken a backseat. Kicking myself really, as this will be our most expensive Disney vacation to date, ugh. Thank you for your help. I will call and see if they can take the extras out.

once they straighten it out for you, I would book any three rides you can find that you are interested in and then try to modify later. Just work with what you can

Tbh I’m not sure the difference between the FP and FP+ so don’t worry it’s the same principle.
Pick your three rides or shows and then once you get there and you’ve use them you can make more.
