When can you check in at RPR?

We are driving from Houston (I know, I know....) anyway, if we drive though, we would get there early in the morning. How early is "too early". I know they will store our stuff, but I am guessing we will want a shower and nap! What time would be best to get there? Besides of course the obvious check in time.... I don't want to wait that late.

You can check in very early. One time we checked in around 9 AM and our room was ready. It just depends on how busy they are. If you're not really particular about what type of room or view that you get your chances are better for being able to get your room early.

I usually am checked in by 7:30 am at the hotel.

most times my room is not ready so i just have my belongings put in the luggage room.

I have my hotel key at this point and first hit city walk for coffee and then to the parks by 9:00.

if you arrive and check in but the room is not ready, go ahead to the parks.
you can call the hotel number you are given and receive the room number by phone.

your room number is keyed into your hotel key automatically.
you don't have to stop at the lobby desk but go straight to your room.

call star service on the phone and have your belongings brought up to your room at that time.

You can "check in" as early as 6 am, but the big question is, will your room be ready at that time. No one here can answer that question. What time of the year are you planning on traveling, and what day of the week will you arrive?

You mentioned driving straight through, so you need to take the possibility of not having a room ready when you arrive, and maybe leave a little later so you arrive later??

Tough call.

Last year we were able to check in at RPR at 8:00am but I got lucky cause I was suppose to be in a nonsmoking room and wanted smoking (I know bad boy:rotfl: ) so they had one open and we went straight to the room

After thinking about this until I could think no more, Ithtink our plans are finalized. We will be staying the night in Marianna (Holiday Inn Express with free internet and breakfast!), then heading to Orlando Saturday morning. So we won't get there until probably noon. My OP was thinking we may juat drive straight thru... but that was a fleeing thought. Didn't seem to make much sense for us. Thanks for all the help!

we're always glad to help.

we all were newbies once upon a time also.
