Hee Hee:goodvibes So I just booked our next trip December 8th -12th!!!:):):) I called walt disney travel planning and she said she couldn't give me any info until October. I said can I be put on a list like Fantasmic? She said she couldn't help me until 60 days before... So if I could be on the list for Fantasmic and then they(travel planning) call for me when the 60 days are up then why can't I do it for the Candlelight processional? Do I have to call back and try someone else? Thanks:thumbsup2 Oh yeah, and it's the premium seating I am looking for. :yay: :woohoo: :cheer2:hee hee better change my countdown clock:dance3:

The past 2 years when I've gone to Candlelight, it was held only the first weekend of December, I think you are going too late to catch it.

Yeah, they haven't even released the dates for the CP yet, but most bets are leaning toward it being Dec 1 and 2. They don't treat it like reservations for dining. It's a special event, and I recall that ticketing last year was very, very late (I'm thinking Oct or Nov.)

Thanks guys,I've gotten mixed messages on the subject. My man talked to a lady @ wdt yesterday and she called us back today and said it's a pretty good chance it will be that weekend. She also mentioned a Napa Rose dinner/premium seating. But then I called planning and it was all hush hush..:confused3 So time will tell I guess...:goodvibes either way I'm happy to be going there for the holidays, should be awesome! And If we missed it then maybe there will be lesser crowds:thumbsup2 Thanks again:goodvibes

Hi there
Last year, the Candlelight Processional was the first Friday and Saturday of December. I am under the impression that this is always the case.
The tickets for it went on sale, in Nov, I think. They went on sale online only.
And, the initial offering was only to Annual Passholders. It was so popular, that the website was crashed almost immediately and it took several days for them to sort out who had tickets and what tickets were left. When the remainder came available, it was still online only and took me at least two hours to get my tickets bought. By the time the annual passholders were done, I don't think there were many, if any tickets, left at all.
Having said that, we paid $75 each and that included a meal at the Japanese place in Paradise Pier Hotel (only moderately okay) as well as seats in front of the stage. Oh, we were annual passholders then too.
In Florida, at WDW, the Candlelight Processional is offered for several weeks so your travel agent may have been a little confused.
Hope that helps!

Getting tickets last year really was a mess wasn't it? I was one of the lucky few who got stuck in the system right at the sale opening. I was in my hotel room at the Grand Californian, refreshing constantly until opening. I do believe the days they have the Candlelight processional are Saturday and Sunday though, since we have gone on the Sunday date for the last 2 years. I remember it being a Sunday because that's the only day my husband could get away from work. We had one of the cheaper packages at Storyteller's Cafe and we still had pretty good seats. I don't know if you get any better seating if you buy the Napa Rose package. The year before last we were 3rd row center with a cheap package again. I think Club 33 gets the best seats.

hmmm..well we were going to get APs when we went down in December but I guess we will have to get them earlier to be able to buy the tickets? So when do they announce the dates? Thanks everyone:thumbsup2

Last year the dates were announced September 4. Tickets were offered to AP holders on November 5.

What is the Candlelight Processional? Oh my gosh I feel like I have never been to DL before. You guys have so much great info.
