When can you book a WDW resort for October 2014?

When the rates are released for next year.

Typically that occurred in August but in the past two years it happened sooner, June and July.

You can book room only now by calling, which will be quoted at the highest rate for 2013 for that particular resort/room type. Your reservation will then be adjusted once the new rates come out, which should be sometime this summer. New rates have been known to come out in August, but have been released as early as June/July the last 2 years. If you want to book a package or book online, you have to wait until the 2014 rates come out.
