When can I use tickets?

We have an upcoming split stay and I am considering getting the DDP for the middle part. I need a park ticket for the first night, our dining plan would be nights 2-4. Can I use the ticket on our arrival day? Does this even come into play when I get DP through DVC? Thank you-

If these are all DVC stays, not, it doesn't matter. It only matters if your tickets are part of a package.

Not a package, but the first night we are staying at a value before DVC stay. We have GOG reservation on the first night so will need to get in the park. I wasn't able to get it for one of our ( potential) DDP nights...
