When can I see January 2018 on the disney site?

I want to start pricing out options...I know deals will come up before then and things will change, but I'd like to start saving up what it will cost. Any idea when I'll be able to enter January dates? I thought waiting until february would work, but it's not up as of today. TIA!

Not that this means anything, but Disney Vacation Club booking windows start 11-months in advance.

11-months from yesterday was still December and room availability for December, 2017 is showing on the website.

Best guess - any day now for January, 2018.

DVC has nothing to do with when you can start booking cash reservations. You won't see prices for next year until most likely June, maybe July.

My advice is to add 10% to what the rack rate was this year for the same dates and that should give you a good planning number.

Based on last couple of years, room rates for 2018 will be released around mid-June. I've been keeping track of rooms at POR and the room rate went up about 5% from 2016 to 2017. Mousesavers has a lot of historical information on room rates and discounts.

They will release 2018 rates in June (mid to late June, if I remember correctly).

As momto2js said, you can look at this year and add 10% to give you a ball park.

You can, however, call and book right now.

At any time, if you go to My Disney Experience and search for room availability, you are going to be about 11-months out.

Like right now - you can book through December, 2017 - that's 11 months, inclusive (Feb-Dec).

But you're not going to be able to book January 2018 until probably mid-June, which is much less than 11 months out, plus you'll also be able to book most of 2018 as well.

It would be unusually early for the prices to be released in May. The trend over the last several years has been mid-June (2017 was released on 6/21/16) through end of July (2015 was released on 7/30/14).

Years and years and years ago it used to be in August!! I would guess 6 months out. You know the rates aren't going to go DOWN so just base your starting point on this years rates and as others said add like 10% for a cushion.

You can call in and book room only reservations 499 days out. I already have Fort Wilderness reservations in January.

There is no way a travel agent knows when Disney will release dates. And mid May is highly unlikely at that.
