when can I on-line check in for Disney..what's this fp+ about

I've searched but couldn't find a great deal about my questions.. So hope you lovely people can help?

Q1. What's the earliest I can on-line check in for my trip to PORV? The accommodation was booked direct with Disney.

Q2. What's the FP+ all about? Is there a thread giving details of what it benefits it gives to you?

Online check in is usually 60 days out but I have been trying to do online check in for my trip for 2 weeks now with no joy. All I get is an error message!

There are a ton of threads about it, but the short version is FP+ is part of the new system Disney are rolling out. You'll need to be registered with My Disney Experience. FP+ is a way to book your fast passes before you even leave home. You sign in to MDE, select the attractions you want to FP and the times you want and they're all booked for you.

It is still in testing but I think POR is now included.

im having a mare getting the My Disney Experince app to log in. I've entered my email address that I used to receive the confirmation and I've tried every password possible. None work, so I've clicked the link for lost password. Completed my email address and asked for a reset.. Sent this 5 times now over the last few hours.. nothing has arrived.

Have you signed up for a MDE account?

Just because your confirmation emails (I assume from Disney UK) have been sent doesn't necessarily mean you have an account. Try signing up for new account from the website with your email address and see what happens.

Now that we have booked I have the MDE app on my ipad...however I can't seem to link the reservation that we have made.

have you got your resort reservation number? It's not the same as your confirmation number. If you haven't you will need to request this from who ever you booked through.

Hi there I booked through disney uk and I can see what I think is the reservation number but on MDE it just flags up as an error

I booked through the Disney UK site as well and my resort reservation number is 12 digits long. I had to email them to get it though as it doesn't appear on any of the paperwork/emails etc from them. They got back to me very quickly.

Hi,

My check in opened up 45 days before my checking in date on MDE.
The confirmation number I used was 3 letter then 5 numbers eg ABC12345

Hope this helps
