When can I make reservations?

Hello! The DCL blog calculator shows that I can begin making reservations for my June 6th cruise activities and cabanas, etc. today. I'm a first time DCL cruiser, so I'm unsure of where I can find ways to do this. These are not options on the official website under My Reservations or anything. I haven't received anything by mail from DCL yet either. Any input? Thanks!

As a first time cruiser you won't get a Cabana, but it should open up online around midnight EDT.

I agree with the PP, you probably won't be able to book a cabana on your check-in night, but keep checking back they do show up, especially the week before your cruise.

yes, you will be able to schedule at midnight EDT on the day the website says you can schedule. You have to be paid in full as well.

Don't be discouraged when much of what you might want is already full as there are always some good excursions left for booking. You can also continue to check back as people intermittently cancel activities as they change their mind.

Never say never. Depending on the ship, the time of year, and whether they are looking for Family or Serenity a first time cruiser might get a cabana. I got one as a Silver for Serenity Bay over Presidents' Week last year when sailing on the Magic and there was still one open on SB well after first-time cruisers could do their signing up.

It is rare? Yes. But it CAN happen.

When looking under "My Reservations" on the DCL website, on the right hand side of your reservation should be a section that says "Book activities starting XX/XX/XX" and "Check in starting XX/XX/XX". When your window actually opens these will turn into links that you can click on to actually book the activities and fill out the online check in in formation. If the date is actually today, your window should have opened at 12:01 eastern time.
