Hi all,
We are very anxious. We are the buyer and we closed last week. We used Timeshare Closing Services and apparently everything was couriered to Disney. Disney said we are not in their system yet. How long does it take to get in their system. We want to make a reservation asap.
Thanks so much! ::MickeyMo

It varies by the amount of new owners being added to their system and the number of personnel doing the processing.

I wish I could be more specific, but it's the best I can do.

I would recommend you call them everyday, until you get to make those ressies.

Thanks again for doing business with us!

Sincerely,
Tom

Would you Resale buyers out there give her some of your stats & info?

for the reply.
I should mention to you and everyone reading this that it was a pleasure dealing with the Timeshare Store. It was truly a painless process and staff did not mind me calling frequently with several questions. Plus, we are located in Toronto! We were a little nervous dealing with them initially being all the way in Canada - but things went really well.
We would highly recommend Timeshare Store to anyone!

We also used The Timeshare Store, and were very pleased. We were in the system and able to make ressies within 7 to 10 days after closing and sending back all the final paperwork. I was told it takes that amount of time for the transaction to be recorded with Orange County.

From start to finish, the whole process for us took just under 5 weeks. And we were ready to go!

for your reply.
I suppose I can wait 7 to 10 days. Just hope we can get a 2 bedroom suite in Aug.
Anyone know if 2 bedrooms suites are available early Aug. for BCV or BWV?
Thanks for all your help everyone!

When we closed, it was 10 days exactly when we got "in the system," however we had no points in our account. The points went in on the next business day. Several others have had the same experience and it appears to be a two-step process, setting up the account one day and actually putting the points in the next.

When you do get your account set up and have points in it, be sure to double check the points. In our case, we found that points we'd been told were available had in fact been banked. That was no problem for us, because that is exactly what we were going to do anyway, but be sure things are the way you expect them to be. If there are any discrepancies, get on them right away.
