When can I book this?

I have 2 DVC contracts, both with BLT home resort. One contract is March UY and has points for March 2021, the rest have already been borrowed and used. The other contract is Sept UY, points in Sept 2020, the rest have been borrowed and used.

Is it even possible for me to make a home resort reservation for Feb 2020?

As a general answer, you can make a home resort reservation 11 months from checkin. If you have points that can be used next February, you can make a reservation now (back in March).

So that’s what you get to figure out.

The March UY with points in 2021 can’t be borrowed to be used for February 2020. They can only be borrowed to start trips in March 2020.

Borrowing the September UY points only pulls them back to be used Sept 2019-August 2020.

So if the September UY points are “natural” 2020 points and can be borrowed to Sept 2019 UY, you can use those.

Availability might be tricky, though, with Presidents’ Day and Princess. Best of luck!

A Home Resort reservation for February, 2020 could already have been reserved 11 months ahead in March, 2019. Since that reservation will be in your March, 2019 Use Year (March 1, 2019 - February 29, 2020) and you do not have any points in your March, 2020 Use Year, you have no way to borrow right at 11 months - BUT - on March 1, 2020 when you are in your 2020 Use Year, you will be able to borrow from your March, 2021 Use Year to make the February, 2020 reservation.

Since you do have points in your September, 2020 Use Year (as long as they have not been banked), you could make the February, 2020 reservation right now by borrowing points from your Sept. 2020 Use Year where the points could be used for reservations from 09/01/19 - 08/31/20.
