Do you have more fun booking which resort, or which restruants.

I have more fun booking the resorts.
Anyone else???

I LOVE booking the resorts, too! Its so much fun to look at them all because they are all so different...and then finally picking one! :earsboy:

I'm with you guys on the resorts. We can eat anywhere(my girls only eat hot dogs anyway). We want to stay at every resort. starting from the bottom( well value) and working our way up. We are on our last Value resort this trip.

I'm going to be wishy washy on this one and say both!!! I enjoy the early stages of looking for which resort. Searching the whole Disney website and looking at ALL of the resorts - even the ones that we would never have the money to afford. I like looking at ALL of the amenities - even the ones that we have never used and probably won't on the next trip. After that is all reserved, I have fun for the next 6 months or so planning all the restaurants and researching each and every one to make sure I haven't missed a treasure that no one on DIS has talked about. Like THAT would happen!!!! :rotfl:

I guess I just love the experience of it all....from beginning of planning through the whole trip...down to the minute when I have to say goodbye to my home away from home!!! :sad2:

Has anyone ever rented points from DVC members?? I can see this as being a huge discount on the regular price of nights at the Home away from Home resorts. I haven't done this myself yet, but I was wondering if anyone has, and if so, who did you rent from?

To me I have more fun booking the restaurants then the resorts because every trip I don't have problems choosing really as I usually know my budget and book one in that range and I have also visited all of the hotels so i know which decor fits my tastes and which doesn't. This trip was the exception as I haven't been to the POFQ resort in a very long time so I don't remember that much from it so it will be fun to rediscover it. I haven't stayed at all of them but have walked through!

The restaurants are fun to choose because there are so many different types of dining choices and themes. I have more fun chosing dining because i haven't been to all of them!
