seen another DISer - recognised cos of the green ribbon or badge or something?
I am going to have some ribbon for my bag and am hoping to see other DISers.

Hmm well apart from when I was there with other DISers

May 2003 Paul and I ran into a lime green ribbon and his name was SwampyFox and we stood and had a big chat it was nice to meet him and his partner, they were from New Jersey I think

In 2002 whilst waiting for the parade at MK a girl and her partner walked past and I saw a Lime Green ribbon hanging from her rucksack. I was to shy to approach her though! As I use the DIS more these days, I think I might do this trip...IF I see any lime green ribbons at all! I may "custom make" something with a badge that gives my User name and Country with the ribbons underneath.

There will be at least ONE other DISer on our flight this year so I will make sure I have something prominently Lime on!!...However NOT the lime trouser suit I remember my Mum wearing in the 70s

I had a brief hello with a DISer at All Star Sports resort in August 2002. I was wearing a ribbon on my bum-bag and she had a lime green pin lanyard. I don't remember her name though - I was a bit tongue tied and didn't really know what to say!

(I was also thrown as she pronounced DIS "dizz" whereas I always read it "diss")

We met Ratcatshell on the way out of CRT back in 2001 (I think).

Always have Lime Green Ribbons tied to our rucsacs but never spotted anyone else.

T16GEM, I'll be at WDW when you are (1-7 nov) and I promise to wear a lime green ribbon on my bag.
So there will be at least one Dis'er to spot (and a penguin!)

Good question. We met Dan Murphy once, but only very briefly. As smokers, we seem to run into the spouses (usually male) of DISers. Me and my big mouth talks to everyone anyway. I wear my green ribbon on every trip and have never been approached. We were there during DIS-CON 2 and never met one, can you imagine that?

In two and a half weeks we're off again, but this time I know I'll meet some as we're takeing and Illuminations Cruise with 2 other DIS couples. Can't wait.
