When at supermarket

No, I don't notice because I hate grocery shopping. so I pay attention to my list and get out.

Same here. Plus I am too occupied with my 2 1/2 yr old to even notice or care if anyone else is even in the store!

I thought about this thread yesterday, when I couldn't find a cucumber that wasn't soft. Do you judge the woman standing in the produce section squeezing all of the cucumbers :lmao:

Heck, yes, I notice what people have in their carts. And then I wonder what people are thinking about my cart. :scared1:

I have also been known to rearrange my recycling bin so that the less embarrassing products are covering up the junk food containers. :rolleyes1

Regarding kids eating bananas in grocery stores - I routinely let my DS do this as a child. I had worked as a prosecutor who handled (among other crimes) shoplifting cases, so I can guarantee you I was ALWAYS going to pay for the eaten banana. I figured the banana was one of the healthiest choices that was individually wrapped and didn't need washing. I always pulled another from the bunch and asked the cashier to ring it up twice.

It is possible that the chosen banana was lighter and cost 33 cent instead of 35 cent, but it is equally possible that the reverse was true. Regardless, since I was spending about $1,000 a month at the grocery store, I figured the manager would be happy my son was happy so I'd stay in the store a little longer and be able to add even more to my cart. :hippie:
