A new mandate here in Wisconsin has all our schools starting after Labor Day (gotta protect our summer tourism here too---and we have been known to wear sweaters and jackets on the 4th of July!) The majority of schools here will be out June 6 --- pending snow days!

New Braunfels, TX (northeast of San Antonio) out on May 30th. Most schools in our are end on that day or the 29th.

Some of the Central Alabama schools get out May 22. Our schools districts follow different schedules but some of the major school systems let out as early as May 22nd.

Arlington Tx Last day May 29th. We will be there June 1st (I couldn't wait any longer!) We have 177 instructional days and several staff development and work days. We in Texas start school the 3rd week in August and get no winter breaks other than a two day weekend for the Texas State Fair. 2 weeks for Christmas 3 days for Thanksgiving, and one week for spring break. There are like 4 days where we have a one day holiday here and there.

Well, with all of the winter storms we've been having here in New England, we've already added 2 days on to the end of our school year....and *winter* has only just begun!!!

Now we're not out until June 18th (and it's supposed to start snowing again overnight )

Most schools here in Indiana are out starting on the 28th of May for 2003. My kids are and we are leaving 2 days later for WDW.
