As you can probably tell from the few number of post i have I'm new! My best friend and i are going to WDW the summer of 2008 for our graduation and it seems sooo far away! When is everyone else going? Whats the longest youve ever planned in advance for a trip to disney world? And one more, what do you recommend? Sorry so many questions! Thanks! :thumbsup2

Welcome! I'm Jaimie, Jam, if you prefer. If you have any questions, or just feel like talking, feel free to PM me.

My next trip is this May.
I can't remember how long in advance my trips have been planned.

And, as for recommendations, I could talk for miles about it. If you give me some specifics, such as resteraunts and planning or something, I'd be more than happy to post a few ideas.

Welcome!!!:cheer2: :cheer2:

I'll probably be going for spring break.

Hi! And thank you!

Well.. i think we have restaurants figured out, so basically whats the big stuff (attractions/shows/night time fun etc.) to do?

Let me explain- I went there when i was 13 with my family but ill be going back when im 18 with a friend! Big difference and attention will be towards stuff more our age not family stuff. haha if that makes sense.

I recommend any of the rides that are "more extreme." By that, I mean the rides for the adventerous.

For example, in the Magic Kingdom, I'd ride Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Space Mountain, and Splash Mountain. (The triple mountain whammy.) Haunted Mansion can be described as creepy, yet exciting. POTC is also a good ride, if you're into that. Don't forget to check out the classics, such as the Astro Orbiter (If you're not afraid of heights), Buzz, The Carousel, The Carousel of Progress, It's a Small World (if you're willing to have that song stuck in your head the rest of the day. ;) ) And other rides like that.

EPCOT's "main" attractions include Mission: Space, Test Track, Space Ship Earth and Soarin'. I know that there are tons more, but I'm running short on time.

There's always Downtown Disney, the "shopping district" of WDW. There are tons of stores there, from Sporting Goods, to Ghiradelli, to Christmas shops. There's also Pleasure Island, the area of DTD that has clubs. I haven't been in them, since I think you have to be 18 or older to enter, anyway.

I suggest that you purchase the Unofficial Guide or Birnbaum's, because they are loaded with everything that "The World" has to offer.

I'll elaborate on a few other things later, if someone doesn't pick up where I left off. Byee.

Actually in April it will the 500 days out for me to make a ressy for my Wilderness Lodge Christmas 08' stay concierge level. 7 days of pure bliss at our home away from home.

Back to where I left off.

EPCOT. I never finished. There's also the World Showcase. That's a must-do, whether you're willing to do the KIDcot stations or not. (I still do. :p) It's a great cultural experiance.

MGM. A lot of people think that its a park to skip, but it's my favourite. There's the Rock 'n' Rollercoaster starring Aerosmith, and the Tower of Terror. Then, there are tons of shows and other attractions.

Animal Kingdom. Expedition Everest, Kilimanjaro Safari's, Khali River rapids . . .

Well really, I could talk about WDW for hours on end.

I am going in October for 10 days. We went last year aswell but now we are going every 2 years.

I'm going in October too. I'm going the 14 to the 20th I think. And I just went in February too. I'm so excited. This is the first time that I'll be going twice in a year.
