When Are You Doing the DCP?

Hey, y'all! I understand that this is pretty much subjective-- depending on your own life and schedule but I thought I'd ask anyway.

When are you all doing the DCP? What year of college do you all think is the best time to apply?

I will be a rising sophomore for the fall of 2014 so that pretty much gives me a little time to actually apply. I would love to apply/participate in the DCP but it feels like there's not enough time to enjoy & take advantage of college, do/enjoy/experience the DCP and do other things like summer internships (which I need for the career I want).

Any thoughts? Would it be better to look into the professional internships, instead? I've checked them out but it doesn't seem like there are any that pertain to my specific major/area of interest.

I start the disney college program Sept 2nd! Some people like to do the dcp after they graduate or if you're in community college like me, it's easier to do.
If you can do the dcp, I would say go for it!

I did my CP the Fall semester of my Junior Year. It was perfect for me, I didn't have any obligations at school that year, it was kind of a break but I still took online classes. I need an internship for my major as well which I still haven't found, but I'm applying to some Disney PIs next summer. The program put me back a semester, but it was worth it to me. I'd do both if you can swing it, PIs are harder to get into it seems so it depends. Maybe the CP during school and then a PI after you graduate.
