When are Virgin sending out their tickets?

I should be gleefully doing the single digit dance BUT I've go no tickets yet.

When should I start to worry?

I've also got no villa details either (from another company who say I should get them Friday) so I'm getting rather twitchy.

Just got four weeks to go myself now, but it still doesn't feel like you're really going until the tickets drop through the letterbox...

Libby - we go on Sunday (7th) and only got the tickets Saturday (30th July) This is by fat the latest we've ever received our tickets from Virgin. The first time we went we got them 7 weeks before we went. Whilst I can understand not sending out so far in advance in case any last minute changes, I personally think a week beforehand is a little too close for comfort. Thankfully nothing was wrong with ours (at least not that I can see, but then I didn't know my airline ticket didn't have a return part once ); there have been a couple of times in the past when car rental details have been incorrect

Virgin (holidays) used to send them out around 3 weeks before but seem to be down now to around 10 days to a week before.

I rang up to ask recently (Las Vegas tickets) to be told (by India call center) that they would be sent out a week before i.e in about d 5 days time , anyway they arrived the next day !!

We've just been to LA and Hawaii on a Virgin package holiday. We were flying on the Tuesday, and didn't get our tickets until the Thursday before that, so just 5 days before we flew. We gave Virgin a call as we were getting worried, and they told us exactly when our tickets were being sent, and when we should expect to receive them.

It gets a little close to the mark now doesn't it!

Last year we got them 3 days before, no problem but we were flying Christmas Day!!!!!

I think I'll save the dancing until I'm sure of the villa. I am feeling decidedly uncomfortable about how reliable the company are that I've booked with as they have recently (in the last 2 weeks) resigned their membership of ABTA.

I couldn't wait - so I've just phoned them. Now they're saying Monday at the latest. I don't know whether to believe them or not. I should be feeling excited, but I'm feeling sick with worry instead. My fingers are still firmly crossed.
