When are refurbs officially announced for DL? Seems WDW announces several months in advance, is DL only about 2 months or so prior?

This is because people don't plan as far in advance at DLR as they do for WDW. DLR announces them later and with a more exact time frame for the colsure. WDW announces them sooner and more things change making the data less useful.

If you let me know you dates, I may be able to give you some farther out planned closures.

Thank you. We are planning for Nov. 10-17 (give or take a day). Right now I am actually planning a WDW and a DL trip for those dates as we will have to decide based on what flights end up doing come this summer. What rides will be closed makes a bit of impact in that decision too. Thanks for any tips!

The only thing that normally falls around that time is Small World. Though because of Calendar dates that may be done or may not. This won't be known for sure until the Holiday Schedule comes out in late Summer. Small World recieve a seasonal overlay.

Other than that there are just a few rumors some of which contradict each other.

It's hard to say, last year the dates were posted on the Disneyland website in mid June. This year it may go back to July. The link below is where you should check as a thread about it may get burried very quickly on here.

Matterhorn and Goofy's Sky School are the big ones at that time.

Ariel's Grotto will be closed starting on the 30th.

Monster's Inc will have work around it but the attraction will be open.
