When and how to rent a vehicle from WDW

WE are going to be in WDW the week before and after Thanksgiving. We want to rent a car to take us to NASA 1 day the week after Thanksgiving. We will need an 8 passenger vehicle. Can anyone tell me how, when and where to do this and what company would have the best deal. Thanks in advance

We have had a few one day rentals from AVIS as they have a location just inside the Doubletree Hotel which is just a short walk from Downtown Disney.

You can also use National which has a location inside the Swan/Dolphin (not sure which one).

I have found better rates from Avis which is why we choose them over National.

The Car Care Center in WDW has an Alamo Rental there, the prices are pretty reasonable. They have a shuttle that will pick you up at your WDW resort.

We have used both Dollar DTD hotel location and Enterprise (at World resort across I4 ) so both of those could be an option as well . Just make sure they will have a 8 pass avail.

KISS2 code with dollar has gotten me some great rates.
