WHEELSIE GOES TO DL!!!!! Tons of questions

Ok but I really only have 1 BIG one...

OK, if I don't want to (read DH) stay on property and coming from LAX but spending 1 day near San Diego w/ my bro and his famiily where would be a great suggestion (or 20 LOL) to stay during 3 days in early October?

Please help Wheelsie...She's in over her head LOL

Is it a decent little place? reasonably priced? and king bed w/ roll in shower?

I know I can look thus stuff up but I figure it never hurts to ask while I'm researching it in another window

I don't know about the roll in shower - It's an older motel (one year younger than DL) with roses climbing to the balcony rails. The people are terrific, so if you gave them a call, I'm sure they could tell you if they could meet your needs.
